Description
Part 1 of the steering system.
When combined with the Second Steering System Component, these two pieces function as a steering column and universal steering joint. This 1st Component rests on top of the 2nd Component that is anchored solidly to the Chassis. This 1st Component supports the Servo Saver Spring, and has a recess for an E Ring snap/keeper Clip That keeps it in place. Then a part of the steering assembly fits over that. This is all in the Right Side steering assembly or Passenger side of the truck. The Left side (Drivers side) only needs Component 2 of the steering system. 1st Component also needs a small Bearing in the top of the 1st Component to function properly.
