 This SWIFT Fuselage comes with Servos for the Tail Elevator and Rudder, the Servo Push Rods for the same, with Push Rod Tubes, and also comes with the Main Motor.

LiteHawk SWIFT - Assembling Replacement Main Fuselage
This DIY instruction set assumes you have ordered replacement kit "Fuselage w/2 Servos & Motor" 285-1253 which includes all internal pieces required to build a replacement Main Fuselage Assembly. THIS IS THE RECOMMENDED WAY TO PROCEED.
A few components can also be ordered separately If required. This DIY instruction set still serves to direct their installation. Tail Rudder and Elevator Servo Set 285-1248, Pushrods 285-1249, Control Horns 285-1250 and Motor 285-1241
- Install the Tail Rudder Control Horn as shown
- Install the Tail Elevator Servo as shown

- Insert the kinked end of the Tail Elevator Pushrod (the shorter of the two) into the Servo Horn as shown.
- Lay down the Pushrod into the grooves in the fuselage section as shown. Apply a few tiny dabs of foam-safe CA adhesive or the adhesive of your choice at suitable points to secure the pushrod sleeve.
- Install the Antenna Tube / Reinforcing rod as shown. Apply a few tiny dabs of foam-safe CA adhesive or the adhesive of your choice to secure the tube.
- We prefer to install the Motor without adhesive so as to allow replacement without destroying the Fuselage Assembly. If you like, apply a few tiny dabs of foam-safe CA adhesive or the adhesive of your choice to secure it to the fuselage section. If you do so, you will need to apply adhesive again when putting the two fuselage sections together.
- At this point, you may want to install a strip of velcro inside the fuselage section to secure the ESC (shown for reference).

- Pierce through-holes in the Right fuselage as shown. Use a thick sowing needle or a heavy tooth pick to pierce the foam first, then feed the pushrod and sleeve through. These are required for making a connection to the Tail Rudder Control Horn possible.

- Install the Tail Rudder Servo as shown.
- Insert the kinked end of the Tail Rudder Pushrod (the longer of the two) into the Servo Horn as shown.
- Feed the Pushrod through the pierced holes and out of the fuselage.
- Lay down the Pushrod into the grooves in the fuselage section as shown. 
- Apply a few tiny dabs of foam-safe CA adhesive or the adhesive of your choice at suitable points to secure the Pushrod sleeve.

Install the Canopy Clip onto the right fuselage section. Be generous in your use of foam-safe CA adhesive or the adhesive of your choice to cement in the clip. Ensure it is well-seated. Just don't glue the movable catch part. 

 

Joining the fuselage sections - 

- In this case we do not recommend any CA adhesive as it will dry and set before you are done applying it.. Use an adhesive that will allow you to make quick adjustments in fit before it sets.

- Use a water-resistant, hot/cold resistant adhesive. There are epoxies as well as flexible adhesives available. Gorilla glue, Carpenters Glue, just about any white glue will work. Just make sure that it is Foam safe before applying.

- Apply a thin but consistent layer of adhesive to the mating face of one fuselage section. Take special care around the water-landing section as you will want to keep water out.
- Below I've traced to show where I apply adhesive. Be sure to apply adhesive to the exposed face of the Canopy Clip and if you chose to glue it, the Motor. 

- Align the holes and bosses on each fuselage section and stick them together ensuring nothing has fallen out of its' groove and that wires or pushrods aren't obstructing the closure. 
- Use moderate pressure to Clamp the two sections together. My adhesive takes 20 minutes to set solidly.
- Check all seams carefully. If you find any separation, use a thin piece of cardboard (such as a business card) to shim more adhesive into the gap, and clamp lightly to set.
