LiteHawk EXCITER - Blade Rotation Direction

  • Your new multi-rotor's blades spin in different directions, cool huh? This helps it to fly with increased stability and control. Here's a pic that will help us see which blades spin in which direction.

LiteHawk EXCITER - How To Charge

  • Plug the charger into any standard 120V outlet. Green LED indicates standby.
  • Place EXCITER away from any highly flammable objects or surface.
  • Unplug the red battery connector from the EXCITER if plugged in.
  • Plug the white connector on the battery into the charger. Red LED light indicates charging.
  • Once the charger light turns from red to green, charging is complete. Approx. 45 minutes.
  • Unplug the battery from the charger and plug in the red connector into the side of the EXCITER.

Remember

  • Recharge the battery for at least 20 minutes if storing for more than 24 hours. Failure to do so will damage the battery pack.
LiteHawk EXCITER - How To Sync
  • For any Multi-Rotor with 3-axis gyro, start up initialization is paramount. If it is not initialized right, it will not fly right. Therefore, the best way to initialize the gyro is to first find a level surface. *Make sure the EXCITER is on a flat surface during the syncing process!*
  • Turn ON the remote control - You will see a flashing red LED light and audible beep indicating the power is on. The LED will go solid after a few seconds.
  • Plug the battery into the EXCITER and place the EXCITER 4-6 feet away - You will see a flashing red LED on the EXCITER come on.
  • Move the left stick on the remote up and down once - In a few seconds the red LED on the EXCITER will be solid. This indicates that the model and the controller are bound. If the red LED is blinking slowly, they are not bound and you must repeat the process.
  • Your EXCITER is now ready for it's flight.

LiteHawk EXCITER - How to replace the battery

  • Plug the charger into any standard 120V outlet. Green LED indicates standby.
  • Place EXCITER away from any highly flammable objects or surface.
  • Unplug the red battery connector from the EXCITER if plugged in.
  • Plug the white connector on the battery into the charger. Red LED light indicates charging.
  • Once the charger light turns from red to green, charging is complete. Approx. 45 minutes.
  • Unplug the battery from the charger and plug in the red connector into the side of the EXCITER.

LiteHawk EXCITER - How To Replace Blades
  • With the body off, slide the battery out.
  • Firmly grasp the blade and pull up.
  • The blade will slide off. Replace by sliding the blade back on.
LiteHawk EXCITER - What will happen if the EXCITER goes out of range?
    • If the EXCITER goes out of range there is a Fail-Safe Throttle kill that will stop the rotors from turning.
LiteHawk EXCITER - Post flight procedure.
    • Remove the red battery plug from the side of the EXCITER.
    • Turn off the remote.
    • If you do not plan on using the EXCITER for more than 24 hours, it is recommended that you recharge the battery fully before putting it away.
    • Please remember to allow the battery to cool 10-15 minutes before recharging.
LiteHawk EXCITER - What happens when the battery voltage gets low?
    • Remove the red battery plug from the side of the EXCITER.
    • When the battery gets low on the EXCITER the onboard low voltage protection activates shutting down the rotor motors. All LEDs will remain lit and solid on the EXCITER.
