Description

Front and Rear uprights & knuckles, these are the parts that support the wheel bearings and axles and give vertical and lateral movement to the front wheels and vertical movement to the rear wheels while allowing the wheels to spin. The Front Upright and bearing knuckle give the axle a hinge to move side to side... to allow for turning, while another hinge at the point of union between the lower suspension arm and the Front Upright give the wheel up and down movement to allow for vagaries in the road.... bumps!

The Rear Bearing Knuckle has only one hinge at the suspension joint, meant for vertical travel... up and down, for the variations in the road.
