285-400277 BIG TOM SC - Front Drive Box

1 piece BIG TOM SC Front Drive and Steering Assembly. Comes complete with Motors and gears. Does not come with the Steering Servo. Steering Servo is a separate piece.

LiteHawk BIG TOM SC Front Drive/Steering Assembly Removal: 

First, remove the Body (as described in the part, Roll Cage), Front Wheels, and Shocks. If you are replacing the Front Assembly, you can remove the Steering Servo before or after removing the Front Assembly. Start with unplugging the Motor Wire Connection from the ESC.

There are 4  Front Suspension arms held on by a large shoulder screw in each. Unscrew from the Sides of the BIG TOM SC, they are the same on both sides, and need to be removed.

You can now set aside your Front Assembly

 The Front Assembly Housing has small fins attached, that fit into recesses made for them on the Tracks. The smaller fins allow the steering to function with the Tracks, and also prevents the Tracks from turning with the axles, just like the wheels do. Instead it transfers the axles inertia to the rubber track.
